Hi Everyone,
In our INED 7790 class, you have been asked to use a variety of media in the creation of your digital story. Initially, I encouraged you to use Windows Media Player or Real Player to rip the audio you wanted to use in your digital story. However, I just examined a tool that I think is easier to use called FreeRIP. FreeRIP works much like Windows Media Player or Real Player in that you can easily rip music from a CD and save it into a .wav or .mp3 format. However, FreeRIP also allows you to convert audio file formats which I don't think Windows Media Player or Real Player can do.
The ability to convert file formats is very useful as you have discovered through the process of creating your digital story. You can download the free version of FeeRIP at:

Let me know what you think!
